The Ole Brook Bands offer a comprehensive instrumental music education to students in grades 6-12. From our Beginner Band to the Wind Ensemble and Pride of Ole Brook Marching Band, our students are being provided the opportunity to learn skills and participate in an activity that will lead to many new opportunities throughout life.

Dating back to 1912, the program has a rich tradition and history of excellence. Over the decades, the Ole Brook Bands have received dozens of Superior and All-Superior ratings throughout the state, including at the MHSAA State Marching and Concert Evaluations.

Through the years, the program has been able to perform throughout the Southeast, including performances in Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, and Florida. On an individual level, our students have participated in various honor bands and clinics, Drum Corps International, and the 39-time International Champion Mississippi Lions All-State Marching Band. Those who have participated in Drum Corps International have performed throughout the nation, while members of the Mississippi Lions All-State Marching Band have performed on the international level, including, in the summer of 2026, Hong Kong.

After graduation, our students have gone on to perform at the collegiate level while attending schools such as Copiah-Lincoln Community College, Southwest Mississippi Community College, Hinds Community College, Alcorn State University, Jackson State University, Mississippi Valley State University, Mississippi State University, the University of Mississippi, the University of Southern Mississippi, and more.
